Hi guys πŸ˜€ Here is Hans and my Cacti and Succulent plants and other houseplants end of November 2017 update πŸ˜€ β˜† Check out my website …

  1. Great video and even better tour. I have a question. I have a beautiful blue cereus columnar. It’s quite large, at around 4.5 feet. I really want it to encourage to branch out like this 🌡 but without cutting the top. Any advice? I hear a nitrogen rich fertilizer helps. A friend also told me to simply prick the tip of the cactus with a sewing needle, so very very small, only a couple of millimeters and that would help. Any thoughts? (Idea for a new video? How to encourage branching of cactus?) thanks so much!

  2. U have a wonderful collection. I’m having issues with my succulent collection and wondering if you can help. I brought mine all in for the winter and lately I noticed a lot of the leaves on all of my succulents have some kind of damage or holes. I looked everywhere and don’t see any kinds of bugs. What should I do? Anyone who read this comment please help.

  3. Wow, thanks for the tour Lyn. I always look forward to your videos. You guys have the cleanest, neatest and most interesting poly tunnel I think I have ever seen!! Your plant knowledge and ability to remember all those latin names is amazing.Β  Sending love and hugs as alwaysΒ from The Midlands,Β England xxx

  4. Lyn, this was a lovely video. You shared so much information. Just wish I could remember names of some of the plants that are like ones I have. I get confused as to which plants are dormant when. I know I fuss over them too much and they need a break! Going to Italy for 2 weeks and they’ll be on their own 😟 Don’t think I can bring plants back to US, but hope I’ll see some nice pots πŸŽ„ And, I liked the longer video!

  5. Hi you two…everything is looking so cool in there. I like the privacy factor of the green covering of the polytunnel. I just had one of those sad shockers when i realized my chain link cholla? Cactus cutting i started a year ago is in trouble. Ut has done great growing nice strong roots and then shot out 2 long new branches…i was really excited. All the sudden, the base is shrivelled up and dried looking. Could I ask you guys for any suggestions? What should i do? Do they need water in winter? I gave it a little all last winter. The roots look good still. Waaaaa… it is a major bummer. πŸ˜• thanks for hearng me whine! 6. How often are you watering your Mama Mother of Millions? I have a big one too & it is drooping a bit. Over the summer it liked more water & now, it doesn't. I am trying to refrain & leave it alone. It is dropping leaves. πŸ™ Kinda worried about it.

  7. HI Lynn, I am in the middle of your video & you reminded me of something. I have a friend that has a coral cactus. It had a black splotch on it & she wasn't sure what to do? She read about it & cut it out of the cactus. What do you think it was & is that ok? She was scared it would spread. She has a square cut out of it. I wasn't sure & wanted to ask you. She keeps it in her office so it's away from bugs & the elements. Thanks! Back to enjoying your video!!!! Cheers. πŸ™‚

  8. You have the most inspiring collection of cacti ever. Wishing your wonderful cacti lots of luck.πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅πŸŒ΅

  9. Thanks very much Lyn,all plants looking fantastic, was in ikea in Dublin earlier this year and purchased a large trichocereus candicans for €16.00,priced the same sized one in johnstown garden centre and it was €45.00,so if your near ikea in Belfast check out their selection of cacti at very reasonable prices.all the best for the weekend and happy growing plant power.

  10. Thank you for sharing Lyn, I love watching your videos and I learn so much from you! Saying the names of your plants has helped me I.D some of mine that I had no idea what they were! All the best to you & your lovely plants!
